Politics, Power & Resistance is a course I have been teaching since I began at Sussex University in 2006, when it used to called Political Sociology. Since I joined Western Sydney University in 2012 it has gone through a few iterations. And this year I am trialling an overhauled syllabus. Feel free to download it and adapt for use with your students. Please be mindful that this is a work-in-progress and that it will inevitably not do justice to the wealth of knowledges out there. It is also oriented towards students who might be coming across some if the ideas for the first time!
