However, what the demographic Winter is claiming is that the only women who are having babies are immigrants and that the so-called European race will be wiped out. This is statistically untrue, but moreover it is racist. Do you care whether the people paying for your retirement are white, black or brown? If so, you are saying that only certain people (racially conceived) deserve to be born, the others don't. Where do we go from there? Mass repatriation, eugenics, or another Holocaust? At 42, I need the gov't to confirm that I will have Social services when I retire, or will the tax burden from increased costs of Baby boomer services, limit future services with a heavier tax rate. The 70 countries under TFR need to invest in their families for global success. We need a taxbase(people) to pay for our Social services. Our governments NEED to support the women/couples who wish to parent, through tax credits, cheaper daycares, etc. so the women who chose to marry or not and wish to parent will have financial commitments, ensuring future generations will experience the wonderful standard of living and Social services we are now experiencing.
