Dear Omar,

Thank you for your comment and I would be happy for you to translate the article. However, I am not sure what the difference between British liberal and German liberal is. Our project, Questioning the European 'Crisis of Multiculturalism' (http://multiculturality.wordpress.com) is a European project so does not come from any particular national perspective. Although I happen to work in Britain, this is not my country. Nonetheless, if you feel that there is a particular difference between British and German liberalism, I would be happy to know what this is. of coyrse, i accept the difference between US liberal (meaning left) and European liberal.

Very thoughtful article. Thank you very much. I would very much like to translate it to German, if i may. The only problem i see, is that you're arguing from a British perspective and i'd have to explain to German readers the difference between British liberal and German liberal... ;-)
